Why We Started Making Soap
It began with a pediatrician’s recommendation to try handmade olive oil soap. I was looking for relief for my daughter’s skin condition that she was born with. I needed something gentle enough to soothe without causing harm. After his recommendation, I learned and started making soap in my kitchen not yet realizing that this wasn’t just a suggestion. Her pediatrician was from Greece and this suggestion came from a tradition he had grown up with. Years later, I connected the dots. He hadn’t just offered a product idea. He had shared a piece of his heritage. That moment became the start of Generation Soaps and for us a name rooted in both family and tradition.
